I Was Just Trying to Help..... Honest.

Prov 26:21 Like charcoal to hot embers and wood to fire,
So is a contentious man to kindle strife.

It is amazing the different topics that are discussed in the word of God. It definitely does prove itself over and over to be both relevant and practical. In this case, it is simple. Feisty people do not make good peacemakers. It would’ve been better for them to stay out of a touchy situation because they will only make it worse.

Nonetheless, we will at some point in our lives witness it at least once. An argument between people that we know. There will always be something that happens between our friends, family and associates. In the church and outside of the church. Many times we try to intervene. However, if we are not self-controlled and willing to listen, we can make things a lot worse. Good intentions is never a guarantee of successful arbitration.

As we see above, sometimes the referee can lose his or her cool. Ouch!
